Inspired by classic bomber jackets, this beige Gaspard Jacket from A.P.C. has a water repellent shell made from a blend of cotton and polyamide and a decorative plaid lining. The front is fastened by a full length zip which leads to the pointed collar neckline and on either side of the waist slanted entrance pockets are available for storing essential items, both with single button secured flap closures that help to keep the contents secure. On the inner left side of the chest a hidden welt pocket offers additional space and the lining is made from cotton with an all over navy and beige coloured plaid pattern. The sleeves are lined with smooth viscose and wide flexible ribbing wraps around the edge of the body and sleeve cuffs which helps to keep the fit in place and heat retained.

Unveiled at Paris fashion week, the SS20 collection from A.P.C. was introduced by the brands founder Jean Touitou saying “The older I grow, the less subtle I want to be,” which gave a hint to the new season consisting of bright colours and playful prints against everyday silhouettes. Suiting recent collaborations with the likes of Carhartt WIP and L.A. based Brain Dead which demonstrated the Paris based atelier taking a more streetwear influenced direction to design, for SS20 inspiration has been taken from 1970’s fashions.
